About the Artist
My journey as a photographer began when I was introduced to my first film camera by my dad. I found the experience to be a fascinating harmony of history & artistry. Finding ways to visually explore subjects through my camera lens is how I found photography and how photography found me.
As fate, would have it I traveled along several paths of the photographic genre to the destination of architectural, and interior photography, while still dabbling in a broad spectrum of photographic subjects, as you can see from my website.
The passion I feel while photographing encompasses the inner personality of the subject at hand. The architectural venue is a path for creativity as it is a challenging collaboration of light, shape, composition and feeling. Like with all great art the finished subject lends itself to the viewer as a simple and appealing body of work. The viewer never thinks it was a difficult capture; that is the essence of perfection.
I constantly study the works of other photographers; I try to gauge how they came to photograph the subject and am always fascinated by how they convey simple yet complicated vision with excitement of the challenge in demonstrating their creative genius.
